Rob Collins, Founder

Rob has nearly 30 years of experience in China, having lived in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong for over 15 years. He has consulted to companies ranging from Fortune 500 firms and to small privately held, family operated companies.

Prior to forming Doing China Business, Rob held various positions with Capgemini Consulting, Aon Corporation and C.V. Starr & Co., Ltd.

Mr. Collins received his MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology – School of Business and Management and Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.

He co-authored Doing Business in China for Dummies, (Wiley Publishing, with Carson Block, 2007).

Rob is a member of the China Committee for the City of Chicago. He also is the advisor to China for the Hadley School for the Blind, Winnetka, IL.
